We will discuss how to review your portfolio to discover the major donors you already have in your system. You will learn some simple tips to help you focus in their interests and use that information to build a closer relationship, so they stay with you for the long term.

Coffee and Conversations is a facilitated discussion about the triumphs, challenges, and questions we face in our work as fundraisers. At each session we’ll explore something different: current trends in the sector, board engagement, addressing and preventing burnout, fundraising tips, and strategies to get you to the next level, and more.

Sharon Mooers, Senior Director of Philanthropy at Year Up, will lead this conversation. With over 20 years of leading and amplifying nonprofits through fundraising, Sharon has worked on large team at national nonprofits as well as been the sole fundraiser for an organization. She understands the ups and downs fundraisers face every day. Sharon has served in many leadership roles with AFP and on community boards.
