What an incredible Annual Conference!

Between our time in person and on Remo, I hope that you left this year feeling as inspired, empowered, and optimistic about the future as I did. I keep thinking how fortunate we are to have a community who can offer so many big ideas as well as actionable steps that we can all take to make our sector more equitable.

We are especially grateful to the many BIPOC fundraisers and Community-Centric Fundraising practitioners who took time to share their real-world experience and insights with our fundraising community.

Also, the reception at the Wing Luke Museum was the first professional networking event for many of us since the pandemic started. (Re)connecting with so many passionate people left me energized and motivated – a perfect start to the conference. I am grateful to all of you who participated in these events and those who are actively working toward a better, more equitable future for the field of fundraising.

Events like the Annual Conference are developed by and for our community. If you’re interested in getting involved and joining our planning committee – please reach out to

Lastly, a few reminders as we move into July:

With gratitude,
Kiotta Marshall
