At Seattle Children’s, Cole is focused on building relationships with mid-level donors at the $1,000-$10,000 level, with a portfolio of about 150 donors. Prior to his current role, when he was at United Way of King County, he spent many years on supporting, planning, and implementing workplace-giving campaigns from a broad spectrum of small size companies, to large corporations, such as Microsoft & PACCAR. At United Way of King County for six years, he transitioned from a support role, to eventually having his own portfolio of donors within the workplace giving area. He has utilized his personal story of how non-profits in the community have shaped his life to thousands of employees, at hundreds of workplace events over the past two decades as a community volunteer for both United Way and Seattle Children’s, before entering professional fundraising field. He serves as Co-Chair for National Philanthropy Day Committee for AFP.
